How to Get Rid of Squirrels Faster

Every day, when I come close to the attic, I see a few squirrels roaming around.

They make a huge noise that seems like a bird making those noises, but it is far louder than them and also disturbing.

So first, I sealed their entry points, used some traps, cut some tree branches, and forced them to leave using some plants. Here are those squirrel-repellent ideas in detail.

1. Seal their Entry Points

Close their Entry Points of those squirrels

Find their entry points and seal them off. I saw those squirrels coming to my house through the electrical line. They are jumping over the roof and then slowly moving to the attic.

I searched for any holes in the attic and sealed them all. Now those squirrels are coming but can not settle there as there is no hole for them. Find the entire point first and block it.

2. Cut a Few Tree Branches

Cut a Few Tree Branches

Not only the electrical wire, but they also are coming to my house through a big three that is close to my balcony. First, I did not know that. But one day, I heard a loud sound.

First, I did not notice that birds were making those noises. But after a few minutes, when the noise seemed disturbing, I saw a squirrel sitting on the tree branch and shouting loudly.

The next day, I cut a few of the branches of that tree, and those squirrels were gone from my tree and house. Sometimes they come back, but not like before.

3. Remove Their Food Sources

I also made sure that they did not get any food in the house, garden, or on the roof.

I removed all the insects, took care of excessive seeds in the storage room, and managed my garbage well.

After a few days, when they did not find food, they did not disturb me. Although, I saw a few squirrels in the evening. But that may be because they are searching again.

Yes, all these ideas repelled them but form too far from my house. If they find food again, they will come back. But I am happy that those squirrels do not disturb me as before.

4. Get a Squirrel Trap

If yes, then the squirrel trap is not too different than that. Take out your mouse trap, put some seeds in there that those squirrels love, and set it up near they roam around.

You will see that they are getting trapped there day after day. Then throw them away from your yard. So that they do not come back to your house.

5. Use a Squirrel Repellent
